  • Well simplified, that's what handicap golfers need in their head, a load of waffle about a cone.

  • more high cappers are now going to top everything after watching this

  • haha i thought he chippd in for a sed

  • good explanation of trapping the ball

  • haha cone effect

  • hopeless,

    check on swing build golf..video.

that one help me stop slicing.

    good luck.

  • Irons as well. Every club pretty much off the fairway and especially around the green. It will give you some check on the ball and slow roll it. But, you have to learn that very little swing is needed when you hit the ball there at impact but, NEVER decellerate. Like he said, ALWAYS move toward your target on the follow through. Weight should FINISH on the front foot.

  • Especially around the green, I put the ball behind my feet, press the hands forward and take a modified putting stroke for chipping. For approach i've just shortened my swing and get my spine alignment right, ball address, grip and pressure and eye on the ball. Grip and grip pressure are HUGELY important. Nice smooth backswing AROUND my torso and let gravity do most of the work back to the ball.Keep the head down and accelerate through the ball at the point of impact. Lag the hands a bit.

  • I've been playing golf (BADLY) for about 15 years. Im totally inconsistent and usually play to 28, but played one round to 15. I realise that golf (and life) is all about having good days and bad days, but with my slice and my inconsistent ball striking, most of these days are bad ones.

I'm playing 18 holes tomorrow and can't wait to give this tip a go. It won't cure my slice, but I hope it will make me strike the ball more consistently.

    Thanks for the advice
