Hiya Sharon.. Got a question, why do you spell G-D and L-RD like this? A teacher once talked about how the Hebrews in the old testament wrote only consonants and the verbs were given to them by God. That way the gentile couldn't understand, but only those who knew Him could understand His word. The verb signified action once spoken orally to the written consonants the words would come to life, have meaning. Just asking if this was the reason, thanks for your time!

Learn at your own pace, Start as simply as the alphabet, go through Psalms, Learn the Sh'ma, Names of G-d, it even has the Yiddish word of the day on the bottom of the home page, a glossary, & more! I like the site blog that tells of the upcoming Shabbat & Jewish Holidays.
