Jeff Minter and Ivan Zorzin of Llamasoft were entrusted to faithfully translate Tiga's 'Mind Dimension' to the Video Dimension. How? By making a video about that very dimension.

Founded in 1982, Llamasoft has produced experimental visual synths, as well as arcade-style console hits like 'Tempest 2000' and, more recently, the awesome 'Space Giraffe'. None of which, unfortunately, featured Tiga (with the obvious exceptions of Tiga Force, Tigaquest and Tiga's Pro Handball).

"The video is loosely based on an experience I had after eating a mood ring," says Tiga. "In my quest to recreate it, I rented a pyramid to be used in the video. Was it worth committing to a nine-year Egyptian tour? Judge for yourselves."

  • Sounds like Flat Eric snuck into this one

  • @LuminousPhenomenon Exactly, this is that kind of tune that combines all sort of sounds that are just amazing. People who are infected with this "mainstream" crap won't be able to understand the technical side of how a track is constructed. Especially, something like this that is 10x more complex then a typical mainstream track.

  • UTC vol. 2 brought me here.

And, like Space Giraffe, this song is like Marmite.

  • every time i loook into your eyes i see the future again and again, and i dont even know the meaning but yeah

  • Niiice

  • this would be good in DXM

  • @ritualsuicide666 Wow, calling me a FL studio bedroom producer is just too much lol. Anyways, as mentioned before. I really hope this futile discussion is over. Have a good life =P

  • @DjAdam16 It's a simple song with a simple beat, feel free to keep getting high and mighty over being a bedroom fruityloops dj though bro haha

  • @ritualsuicide666 No, you cannot do it and there is no need to prove it because I know you cannot. Since when filters have anything to do with this track? If you think you can "produce" something like this and also call this "mainstream" please keep it to yourself because everybody here (including myself) are not interested. In the meantime let people who really understand music appreciate this. Good bye and hope this dumb discussion is over.

  • @DjAdam16 I think you're grossly overstating the amount of detail required for songs like this, as much as you will harp on about filters, equipment, and whatever, the basic tune that actually makes this song good can be recreated on any macbook with ableton live in under 5 minutes (I can do it). "Mainstream" songs have just as much if not more detailed production behind them because they need to sound good on so many different types of stereo systems. In short, get over yourself.

  • @ritualsuicide666 I know its a simple track. But despite how simple it sounds there are several aspects to making it sound nice eg. Analog equipment and EQ'ing. This track the quality in it, despite it sounding simple.

  • @DjAdam16 it's actually a pretty simple track lol. don't get a big head over liking a random song brosef.
