Three and a half stars? LOL! In the balcony or the first row, listening to June Anderson is like being in ecstacy.
-
June's vibrato is unique in that it stays at a constant speed throughout the voice, unlike most voices. She sounds fantastic here.

I don't care what anyone else has to say, 5/5 all the way. I know she's not the best in this clip but she's an amazing and talented artist! Watch her in The Passion of Bel Canto here on YouTube and you'll understand!

That tenore has the heaviest voice, like ever. -.-'

Adoro la Anderson ma qui proprio no mi piace!

June Anderson was a great singer but the Sutherland comparisons didn't always work. Her Violetta has too much vibrato and is too big and clumsy, with no delicacy and expressive acting. Anna Moffo is far superior as Violetta. June sings a great Lucia & Konstanza and her bel canto was always terrific but she had no Verdi training, and as such she can't sing Violetta.
As an update, I have added a second concert performance of June Anderson in this aria, this time from 1987.
