..........lol he deserved the hit? Someone like Matt Cooke or Brad Marchand deserves a hit like that, but Dan Girardi? I was just making a point that if you have ANY intent to injure it's not cool nor legal, I didn't mean Ovechkin elbowed him i was making an example. And no it didn't deserve a major to some degree i still debate if this was even worth a suspension, but he didn't deserve a dirty hit.

He didn't elbow him, NOR make a dirty hit. Also Ovi wasn't hitting someone like Kaberle who no one fking hits cuz he nvr hits them. Ovi checked someone who was constantly bothering him. All the post-whistle hits and chirps. Girardi deserved the hit anyways. The refs see this and since it was Girardi the call isn't as major as other might have been. If you want to bother certain players you have to stand your ground when they come back at you.
