Teenagers are often in the process of growing, and thus should avoid dieting in favor of healthy eating practices and physical activity. Increase physical activity to lose weight as a teenager with advice from a registered and licensed dietitian in this free video on nutrition and diets.

  • hmmm... what if you DO exercise a lot, HATE soda, and HATE eating fat cuz it's sticky and stuff, but STILL overweight? hmmm???

  • diet is a disgusting word. girls or boys, men and women think that diets are amazing. really?no. im 12 years old and my teacher is teaching me that diets are awful. diets are pretty much like abusing your diet. dont go on a diet. just eat the same but smaller amounts. have plenty of water and exercise 60 minutes a day. 20-30 minutes wont do it because your body wont burn any fat until youre over 30 minutes. im over weight and i know how all of you feel. try it out. challenge; stop drinking soda.

  • I am a female 5'4 , I am 13 and I am 130 pounds size 3 pants . I know I don't need to loose weight but I need to exersize more ! My friends have a better metabolism then me ! My friends are about 5'2-5'3 girls ,13 years old and weigh 80-100 pounds ! My doctor says I don't need to loose weight but I just want to loose 10 pounds :(

  • i have a few stretch marks on my upper arms a bit in behing my leg and it wosnt notice able but now it growing my my man boobs lol i am so depressed and i do pe at school we run like half a mile ever 2 days isnt that enough well please help me out

    live in the boonies. running is my only option unless I wanna drive 30 miles to go swimming -.- hate running. Is there a quick fix to being lazy? lol

  • @xmusicbeauty15x Is your School Close to you? Maybe you could try walking to school everyday, and back? I do, and Iv'e lost a lot since I turned 11. ( I am 13 Now. ) x
