Classic Game Room reviews DRACONUS for Dreamcast

Classic Game Room season 1 - 9/7/2000

The Classic Game Room ventures back in time to the late 1800's to combat blue midgets, demons and monsters with ill tempers. CGR spanks them back into their place with our sword! Draconus is a sleeper hit, a cool game with not too much press that is quite fun to pick up and play. Players get to romp around large areas and castles stabbing everything that moves with the directionally controlled sword powered by your Dreamcast controller.

Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and Playstation... too bad they didn't get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii.

I saw this in my local game store today almost picked it up, but I didn't know anything about it, thanks game room............skip class hahahahaa

I had this game from DC. First impression wasn't that good, but after giving it a chance it actually was fun.

Graphically it's not that bad and the gameplay is relatively deep for a game of this style.

Every stage was quite big and would take a long time to pass... Big drawback: you can only save in the end of each stage. You have a sort of "temporary save" while you're playing, that is just erased once you turn the system off.

Ah! And that the character seemed to fly instead of walk :)
