  • Yes it's good but what for ? Why do not take all images just in Raw format ???

  • @Praet0ri4n Because photo retouchers don't always have access to the raw files. And there are a lot of nice features available in raw that aren't available elsewhere in Photoshop.

  • Thanks; But is there anyway you can change your preferences to automatically make a jpeg open as a raw.

  • Yes, you can. In Photoshop, go to Photoshop>Preferences>File Handling and select Camera Raw Preferences under File Compatibility. Then, under Jpeg and Tiff Handling, select Automatically open all supported JPEGS.
