I do think that you don't give the RS dr-1 complete credit for people like me - I'm a female, 160cm tall & a very small build - I constantly have 2 cameras with me at all times (because I shoot mainly with prime lenses), and as I don't have broad shoulders, I can't do the 'camera on the shoulder' trick that most men have no problem accomplishing - which means that I end up carrying two cameras around my neck (& I need a lot of recovery time!) - so for me, this is absolutely brilliant!

Im using custom modified backpack strap(s) . comfy with neoprene thing and for slightly less money, and also I absolutely love the classic mounting, not this bolt bullshit

hiya mate!
1st of all thx for all ur videos, i do think they'll very helpful, at least for me to know AN OTHER PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW instead of a demos of sponsorship.
2ndly there is a solution( sort of) for changing lens while using a BR fastener attached on ur cam , which is to get urself BR-T1 fastener, which can be used with a tripod quick-release plate, that helps camera stands straight while off the trap for lens changement etc. I'm using one, it's wicked.

Hey Dom, I can see your points for sure...I have the RS-7 single camera strap, and I really like it, but I do hate the camera hanging upside down, and I don't like the way it fastens with that clip...but overall, it spreads the weight across the shoulders better than the skinny strap the camera came with. Here in North America we know NOTHING about style or aesthetics,so most wedding photographers are fine wearing cargo pants and polo shirts,so the jacket issue never comes up LOL.

@Dombowerphoto yeah.. read comments on other videos not your own.. anyways you win, you can now dance and fly cursing blackrapid. Get a refund and buy some cheese burger. Peace!

@hdjkasdhah what are you on about? Read the comments. That's the other views. Dry your eyes and quit whining

@Dombowerphoto So if you hate BMW does that makes it a bad car? Since your review will say so. A lot of photographers like blackrapid straps and all can't be stupid.
I hate macs but does that make mac useless for everyone? it don't, its just my personal opinion and that doesn't represent any sort of a review about macs.
Next time you do a "Review" do add "others view" with your "views" as well.
@martenfisher1 dont hold back how you really feel.

I used Black Rapid straps for a while. They seemed like a good idea but in use they were a pain to use. The camera moves and swings around too much for my liking. When walking you have to keep a hand on the camera to stop it bouncing around. I now use the Spider Pro belt system and it's great. I use it with a length of black cord connected to one of the camera strap lugs (cord worn like a messenger bag strap across my body) as a safety backup in case I drop the camera. Much better in every way.
