Poem 'Dance A New' from the Book, 'Of Secrets, Nature & Cats' by Donna Lyon Rhose:

Breeze filters through leaves
Like feathers
Afternoon Sun
Casts long shadows.

Mountains ring
The landscape
Near a creek
By the road.

I drift drowsy
Long walk in the woods
On rugged pathways.

Trees stand tall
Up steep terrain
Small insects
Dance the breeze
As the Sun sets.

And the Woods wonder
Will I return?
