Video #3 of the Akaka Bill Panel Debate of February 16, 2010 is comparably shorter than the previous two; nonetheless it expresses the seriousness and subsequent consequences of half-truths, lies, and BETRAYAL!
@traveldakini. Same here! Its so confusing! I don't know which side to support entirely! Although when reading this bill on wiki, there are some parts of the bill that does not make sense to me and is possibly giving me a sense to NOT support this bill. (That's my honest opinion)
And thats right! "Ua Mau Ke E O Ka Aina I Ka Pono"
Many people try to confuse the issue! Many people oppose the Akaka Bill but for vastly diff reasons-this is why it gets so confusing!
But what is important is the intergrity of the aina. Indigenous Hawaiians are the true protectors of the aina so they must not be separated from it. The aina protects and sustains indigenous Hawaiians and vice versa.
Oh, boy! I'm trying to get a sense of the Akaka Bill. But its too brainwashing! Although theres one thing that doesn't seem right. The bill was passed the House this year. And ever since 2000, there was no public hearings. Hearings to OBJECT against the bill. Something no feel right.
Maybe Predsident Obama himself should come down here and hold hearings before he event thinks about signing it! So HE can hear the voices himself!
