This video documents the history of rodeo from the late 1800's through the mid-1930's. It includes archival film footage and rare photos of legendary cowboys, cowgirls and broncs. Viewers can enjoy rodeo action the way it used to be -- bronc riding, bull-dogging, roping and bull riding as it was in the early days! The entire video is 75 minutes long and is available on DVD. • I would love to see a real cowgirl rodeo. Regards from Madrid, Spain

  • My grandfather won a buckle at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in the 40's for bull riding and my uncle won one that year for saddle bronc riding. My uncle worn that buckle everyday even though it worn down smooth and the words can no longer be seen.

  • I honestly cannot think of anything more american.

  • Terrific old film footage, photos, and narration!

  • I'd love to see film footage of buffalo riding.
