Classic Game Room HD - PAC MAN for Atari 2600 review

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of PAC MAN for the Atari 2600 VCS video game console.

Do you have Pac Man fever? I do, and let me tell you this game cured it.

Pac Man was one of the most popular games in the 1980's and a staple of every arcade. Pac Man had a cartoon, he had a breakfast cereal and he slept with hot chicks like Ms. Pac Man. Pac Man invented this retro gaming style. This is old school antique vintage retro gaming for gamers at its finest.

But somewhere along the line it all went bad... right about the time Pac Man tried to port himself over to the Atari 2600.

Don't blame the developers, blame the console / cartridge limitations. The developer for the game only had a 2K cart to work with, as opposed to 4K carts around that time.

It's clear that I don't know a lot about games, in my opinion it was a normal pac man and I did not find it so awful, but as I said I'm not an expert.

on the atari 7800 are the walls supposed to look kind of orange-ish? i'm also using a Zenith analog glass-screen tv probly from the 90s, could that be another thing?
