Let's play dwarf fortress - Blisterballs part 5

We repel a naga invasion force and i forget how to set up a military burrow alert ( doh! ) - should have set a new alert for the burrow order ( now fixed ). Nevermind, the archers whittle them down then the soldiers make short work of what's left.

also just a quick suggestion: you should build a wall around your shooting gallery type of thing near the main entrance so that its only 1 wide, that way when you give your archers a station order, they actually shoot the enemy instead of wandering around.

@thajoka123 - Good idea man, i sort of had the same idea with the 'shootemup' burrow which i only made 1 tile wide against the fortified wall : Seems to have worked - check out part 6.

I like that defense (fortifications + shootemup burrow), I often do something similar; lock'em up, shoot through fortifications and send infantry only to clean up. And gotta love the dwarves throwing a party when the siege ends :)

@TheZemalf - Yeah that was funny - the party was right on que - i couldn't have made that up - just another example of the amusing situations that this game consistently churns out : you've just gotta love it :)
