    Communism is not the real problem, dictatorship and totalitarism is. In order to have communism, you need totalitarism so in that sense communism bad. Socialism is actually a great thing that almost all developed countries have elements of (including US). France is mostly a socialist country but they're hugely democratic. Egypt used to be capitalist but with a islamist dictatorship. My point is, it all depends on whether or not the government suppresses the people.

    They weren't part of the german armed forces, they were a separate autonomous institution but like all things Nazi, Hitler was the chief. That's what made the Nazi defense so weak, there was no individual leadership, everyone had to check with Hitler. Towards the end, everyone kinda did their own thing.
