if you put the brightness to high it doesn't go all black when u look from the side.. :S at least thats what happened with the one i bought.. :(

did you have to make your brightness much higher in order to see the screen easier after putting the case on? or was it fine the way it was?

Yes,as same as PC/Laptop privacy filter,you should make the brightness higher than before.
