Awesome fishing. You can easily work up to 50 ft. w/o any problem. It just takes few months of practice. Anyway, great video. What is the water temp? Also, how far from the shore do you have to go out to catch these fish?

i liked your other vid when you were apnea diving. this one i didn't like so much it just seemed like you would pick the fish off at will. when i spear its only apnea diving. you can still hunt in 50 - 120 feet of water like that. just take a freediving class. here in vancouver we hunt around 60 - 110 most of the time all apnea
Amazing video I love it. Whereabouts is the place with all the black rockfish and awesome vis? Somewhere in Neah bay I assume?

@Petej4040 The place is called Slant Rock and is a few miles west of the Makah Nation marina in Neah Bay. We have been diving Neah Bay a couple times a year since 2004 and that was the best vis we had ever experienced in October 2009

Great place to dive, but you should try spearfishing in apnea (without the tank). It will be a lot more challenging.

I thought about, would love to try free diving. We usually dive deeper water though, 50'-90' and even reaching 130' sometimes then i need my tanks, yep, i use 2 high pressure 130 cu.ft. tanks for deep dives. I love have plenty of air, just in case
