On this DVD, EPA-accredited trainer Bill Robinson teaches jobsite workers how to implement the EPA's new RRP rule for handling lead-tainted paint during renovations.

As anyone knows who has become a Certified Renovator by attending an 8-hour seminar, doing hands-on activities and passing a test, the hard part is to come. That is to train the people on the job how to do these tasks.

Bill Robinson is an expert trainer whose focus remains on those on "the ground," where the work gets done on jobsites. He speaks directly to crew members, delivering the training they need to comply with this newly enacted rule.

This is a clip of the DVD to give you a sense of Bill's training style. The entire program can be purchased at http://www.Train2Rebuild.com.

  • No, you do not have to remove the lead paint. The main thing is to not leave lead dust behind. If you are disturbing the paint with power tools or sanding, it will create toxic lead dust. But if you can contain the original paint by painting over it, that is fine.

  • Do you have to remove all the lead paint or can you prime and paint over it?
