Indigo's Thought of the Day #14 - Learning From All Spiritual Teachers

In our lives, we are frequently presented with people who call themselves spiritual teachers. Often, these teachers are very charismatic, and many spread their message of peace and love, with a pure heart, driven to share their knowledge, and perception of life, with others, so that others too, may learn and grow spiritually.

These teachers have a lot of knowledge, and it is important to listen, and examine life from there perspective, as it is often one the is different from our own.

However, it is easy for us to become caught up with the teachings of one teacher, and to forget, or forsake, the spiritual teachers that have always been available to us spiritual teachers that still have much knowledge to give.

These teachers manifest themselves in many forms that we commonly take for granted, or do not recognize as a source of knowledge. For example, we often forget to look for answers in the most abundant source of spiritual teachers, we know of nature.

From the trees in the forest, to the birds that inhabit our cities, nature is the largest collection of knowledgeable teachers available to us.

Another set of teachers we often take for granted, are the people around us, for, every person you see and interact with, is a spiritual teacher in their own right...as they have experienced life, from yet another perspective that is different from our own. Observing and interacting with the people around you, can teach you a lot about yourself, and your true nature.

And, we often forget about the most knowledgeable spiritual teacher we will every meet. The one teacher will all the answers to our problems, and, the one teacher that can truly shape and change our lives ourselves. You are the best spiritual teacher you will ever know. When you learn to listen to yourself, and learn to trust your intuition, you will find that, you can learn more from yourself than from any other source.
