  • Nothing compares to the RTB during this period and Jimmy was the jewel of that crown. Miss him terribly. CK

  • Thanks Carl. Great Tribute!

  • My fave vocalist.

  • @swampdawg1000 I saw him 2 months ago over here in the UK and although his new vocal isnt as good, it was simply amazing! Would have loved to have seen him back in the 70's

  • Jimmy's close friend Davey Pattison, who joined the Trower band in 1985, is an AWESOME world class vocalist who has the same soulful delivery, just a bit higher tonality and range. But NO-ONE else ever comes closer than the Wee Man himself! Miss Jimmy terribly, thank God Davey is there to fill that unfillable gap! Davey's first two albums with Robin are Passion and Take What You Need. If you listen to those performances, you'll see-or rather HEAR-what I mean! Respectfully, "Stevie Ray Trower"

  • He had a great voice! RIP James.

  • What a great voice. A giant among vocalists.

  • To all future musicians, pay close attention, this is the way it is done. There may never be another perfect combination of chemistry in music ever again.Rt and Jimmy Dewar played New Orleans a few times in the mid 70's. I was up front mesmerized. And still to this day I stand mesmerized. It seems like only yesterday. God Bless Jimmy Dewar and long live Robin Trower.

  • One of the top 3 piece bands ever . An incredible sound for a trio . They were incredible musicians who let their music do the talking . Great vocals and wailing guitar .

  • the smoothness of Jimmy Deward like no other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this was truly a talented man- like no other!!........... A voice that will make you get intouch with your inner soul evry time you'll listen to it............

  • there are many great singers....... Paul Rodgers, Alex Ligertwood (Santana), Stevie Wonder, Glen Hughes............. but the soulfulness and charismatic tones of Mr. Dewar....... have set him apart from all others....... just listen to Sweet Wine of love, Bluebird or I can't live without you...........................
