Local cyclists made the trek across the repaired Hood Canal Bridge today. Eight foot shoulders make the trek less arduous and safer than it was previously. There are a number of grated decks to be navigated, but there are 18 inch wide places to ride on the far right of these. Expansion joints are a few inches wide and crossing them requires keeping a good hold on the bars! A little more work and this will be a great way to cycle from Seattle to Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula.
that orange hot rod truck is from PT haha

Lots of "what ifs" in the world. What if we made it an actual crime to drive drunk so they could NEVER do it again? Why don't drivers obey speed limits? US auto owners don't take the responsibility of driving seriously enough, despite the fact that it's the most dangerous daily activity in our lives.

What if drunk driver hit a cyclist? Kinda scary to ride near speeding cars.
