I've got up to an average of 73mpg on my Skoda Fabia Greenline so far. The secret is not to accelerate the guts out of it. When I bought it , the average mpg on the computer was was just 55.

3l on 100 km? Good result. I did best consumption about 4l /100km with petrol car. (Punto 1.1)
Sometime i must borrow something like Grenline car. I'm very interested, how low i can go ;-)

I have a 2010 Fabia Greenline with the new 1.2 TDI, as yet the best MPG I have got is 73 driving at a very careful speed. So far I have done 2000 miles in the car since new. This is short of 94 MPG as quoted. Did your car improve in MPG as the engine loosened up ? and if so by how much?

How did you manage to get such a high mpg?

Well the car is set up with a higher ratio gearbox, lower suspension and smaller wheels/tyres but this is just part of the Greenline specification. Adopting a driving style to match, listening to the engine, knowing your route and taking advantage of the road conditions etc all play a part. I've just driven London to Berlin and back in it taking full advantage of the Autobahn speeds so it dropped to an all time low of 56.8mpg.
