This video shows some of the lightning which was occurring on the backside of the developing Brisbane storm. This was the beginning of the storm that would demolish parts of The Gap.
About 0:35 seconds into the video there is a very close gunshot flang from the cloud to ground lightning which was occurring regularly with this storm.
This was the storm that went on to produce significant damage to the northern suburbs of Brisbane such as Ferny Grove, The Gap, Keperra, Ferny Hills and my suburb Arana Hills.
Man i Suffered i got Hail Break all of my windows and my car windows, made a nasty hole in my laundry roof funny thing is all of the water is going into the sink To top it off My Cat is Missing Puss Came Back :(

have u ever heard of maleny? its in the mountains west of the sunny coast and wen the storm was gonna hit here the lightning was amazing, every 5 or so seconds there was a cloud to ground lightning within a km. but thats amazing man good job 5 stars

man my whole area near my house was hit by that my neighbours house was hit by a tree and so was mine but it didnt break my roof... there are more trees on the ground than standing here now it sucks so much.
