Researcher Kathleen Tute shows her teams project aimed at getting people to reconstruct their neighborhood in 3D using their own mobile devices, like camera-equipped phones or mobile Internet devices.

This was recorded at the Intel-Berkeley Lab Open House on April 2, 2009 near the UC Berkeley campus.

  • every thing in digital you could say is "blocky". its just how many blocks you can collect from this analog world we live in.

    yes most cell phone cameras do suck but they are the most convent and give a good amount of data.

    but you don't haft to use a phone. that's not the main point of this video.
