its $15, it works well for the price point, but personally Id rather spend more and buy a leatherman or victorinox, which I did. =)

i have the Kobalt multi-tool and i agree with this completely, i got mine for free in package as a present. not knocking it to bad but its one of those disposable commodities if it gets screwed up. and with moderate to heavy use the belt loop rips right off i almost lost mine in a cement mixer. but it handled opening bags, and all the crap i put it through. great in a pinch but not overall reliable 6.3 out of 10 on my scale

I have a Sheffield that is just like that Kobalt minus the rubber handle. Like you said, good loaner. I do have a Leatherman Blast as well, and that is definitely my mutli-tool of choice. It goes where I go.

@MrSatanica i have a few different asaklitt MTs and knives nd there not that bad tbh, not high end but better then some cheap knives and MTs.

You should do a review about the gerber version of this. $30 not bad better than the quick pliers in my opinion.

@sw8741 yes? I do not get how it can take five months that the message arrives?
im sorry but you just answer your own question. you can use the integer and the fraction all so in the metric system so if i had to write i one third i would write 1/3 kilograms :)
the metric system is logical can you say the same of the American system?

@FinTomTom my point is how inaccurate metric is. numbers for dumbies. just move a decimal point! 5 months? are you done with the calculation? let me help...1/3 m = .33333333333333333333333333333

@sw8741 here are the point what im trying to say 1000 Millimetres = 1 Metre 1000 metre = 1 Kilometre 1000 Geams = 1 Kilogram 1000 Kilogams = 1 Tonne 1 gram = 1 milliliter of water (ml) 1 ml = 1 cubic centimeter (cm) 1 calorie = amount of energy required to heat 1 mi/gram/cubic cm of water by 1 gegree celsius boiling point of water = 100 degrees celsius freezinpoint of water = 0 degrees on celsius try to explain the same Americans measurement units
Q - Whats the best survival knife?
A - Whatever knife you happen to have access to when the need arises.
Q - Is a cheap no-brand MT better than a Leatherman Charge TTi?
A - No, but it is better than no MT at all.
I have an Asaklitt MT that is much like this one (but it also has a LED light in the handle). It is inferior to all Leatherman tools, but it sure rocks the heck out of having no MT at all (which many of the haters/knowitalls never have).
