From Real Videos - Lyrics: Like a thief in the night
Just like lightning in the sky
When Jesus comes to take His Church away
With a wave of His hand
We'll be in the promised land
And the people of the Lord will sing His praise

Alleluia, Christ is coming
With angels at His side
Alleluia, Christ is coming
Coming for His bride

Days are dark, hearts are cold
Yet there's a reason still to hope
When we rest upon the promises He made
From the clouds, from on high
He will part the eastern sky
And myriads of angels will proclaim

Alleluia, Christ is coming
With angels at His side
Alleluia, Christ is coming
Coming for His bride

No more sorrow, no more death
Only blessed happiness
When Jesus comes to take His bride away

  • @SupaHead1977 sadly he died due to a ruptured blood clot on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at age 56. A CLASSIC Christian band!

  • Amazing. One of my earliest favorites as a young teenager and a big stepping stone into my decades-long collecting of Christian rock music. And I *still* like this song.

  • @SupaHead1977 i think he had a heart attack about a year or so ago.

  • There are more accolades as before.

  • And for those who may not have known, Eddie had a niece on "American Idol".

  • @manganeseman I didn't know that Dana Key passed away. What happened to him?

  • RIP Dana Key with the Lord now!, thanks for all the great music and ministry.

  • One of the first contemporary Praise & Worship songs; many by D&K. This was considered to be "rock" back then and I wasn't allowed to play it on my radio show on an AM southern Gospel music radio station.

  • alleluia!!

  • I haven't seen this video or heard this song since the mid 80s. Fo crying out loud, am I THAT old?
