2006 Acura TSX Clutch Slipping on 6th Gear

You guys have me scared now. I have 90k on my 04 tsx and the clutch only sometimes grind slamming into 2nd...

mine is doing this at 54k. How much did it cost you to fix?

I got the EXedy OE clutch and flywheel combo for $280 and plus labor from my mechanic $300 so about $580. Dealer was charging me $1,800, they're crazy.

what the 30k??? have you been driving the crap out of it? mine is an 2004 and at 84k it finally went out. hope you didnt go to the dealer to get a new oem clutch kit cause they charge up the ass for one.

Not even, driving as a normal driver would but occasionally I would push it. It's nice to feel the VTEC kick in once in awhile.

@chiney: your clutch is not grinding. It's your tranny making grinding noises when you shift. Your syncros are worn from too much hard shifting or too much downshifting into second when slowing down.

Yeah, mine went out on just a little bit over 30k.
