This is the classic DOS-version. In this game you were a combat-pilot serving the US Navy and your aircraft carrier is send to Ukraine in 1997 to rescue Boris Jelzin from a revolution.

What ever happened to great games like this? Now all the fighter games have 100+ missiles with no aeronautical relevance what so ever like Ace Combat XXX,

I rather play Sky Kid, 1942, or Raiden. We'll never see combat sims like this anymore. I've been desperately trying to look for some old flight sims. No stores like Gamestop have any, guess I'll have to check ebay.

Man, this game was my life back in 6th through 8th grade. I loved this. The best part to me, was the custom mission feature. I loved creating almost impossible odds against myself and trying to beat it. I need to see if i can get it again.

@BrommaHerman Hmm I will check that series out, thanks! I bought a Saitek X52 flight stick a while back, and I've never taken it out of the box because there was no current game I wanted to use it with. But I will check out the series you mentioned.
