I had one of those echo mics once and it worked ok. I never used the echo though.

An echo mic is about as much use as tits on a fish, it used to be just a few Italians would use the damn things. When they legalised FM CB in the UK, they spread like a cancer. You want compression for audio enhancement on narrow band fm. Reverb makes you less readable. That's useful. Not.
