Hollies - Look through any window 1966
with a comment of Tony Hicks 2007

Look through any window yeah
What do you see
Smiling faces all around
rushing through the busy town

Where do they go
Moving on their way
walking down highways and the by-ways
Where do they go
Moving on their way
people with their shy ways and their sly ways

Oh you can see the little children all around
Oh you can see the little ladies in their gowns when you

Look through any window yeah
any time of day
See the drivers on the roads
pulling down their heavy loads

Where do they go
Moving on their way
driving down highways and the byways
Where do they go
Moving on their way
drivers with their shy ways and their sly ways

(comment of Tony Hicks)

Oh you can see the little children all around
Oh you can see the little ladies in their gowns when you

Look through any window yeah
what do you see
Smiling faces all around
rushing through the busy town

Where do they go
Moving on their way
Moving on their way
Moving on their way

  • Graham really looks like George Harrison here...

  • Gaga, Beiber, Cyrus etc all pawns for the music industrial complex. All contribute ZERO to enriching the music industry! Yes, they will make money however, they have Zero legacy value. Unlike The Beatles, Hollies and many others who created an era that had much originality, passion etc! Many people, even youngsters yearn for REAL music... like you hear on this video.

  • The dancing...oy!

  • thanx..my secret weapon is g. nash wild tales album

  • @LanceHelmut Graham Nash and Allan Clarke were the secret weapon of the original Hollies. Nash simply took all that catalyst with him, travelling twice the speed of sound when the core of 'The Hollies, Ltd.' could not keep up. CSN, not necessarily Y, took up where the original Hollies left off. Anyone who came after him and Clarke is a wanna-be, including Sylvester. That this group hung on so long in the mighty wake of CSN is a credit to Allan Clarke

  • @Jerrodswmhr Stop talking shit! This is the music of the past.

It's great, because it's nostaglia music.

Why do you care what 20yrs old listen to?

You're stating the obvious doesn't make you smart,

just makes you an 'oldtimer'! Which sucks!

  • Well I'm 15 and this is one of my favourite songs lol

  • BETTER DRUMMER than Charlie Watts and up there with Mitch Mitchell or Keith

  • wish bar bands of today were this good with honest decent playing and KILLER vocals...to say nothing of the oh so catchy songwrting...the upgrade from carrie-ann to carousel with g. nash is exponential he shoulda stayed .s. stills would been fine without him (manassas) the resta csny....snore snore snore

  • @vordman Saw Tony a couple of years ago, he still looks the same !!!

  • Just fantastic ! I'm a real beatlesfan but this is IT !!!

  • This is my fave version on Youtube, 'cause you can really see Bobby Elliott's BRILLIANT drumming. The whole band is just fab fab fab.
