See, it's possible to care about the environment without being one of those preachy, dipshit "Mother Earth" hippie types.

Yea it is so nice to have such a passionate person at the head of Shaklee (w/her husband Roger :) - she really understands what it is to "go green" with everything - and really lives it out. I am going to have to get her book too! :)

Reminder: Come to AAUW Branch Program, September 23, 7 p.m. at Kingston Area Library, Coping with Energy Costs. Helping cuts health care costs with green products is also energy smart.

Sloan a Woman, Mom, Wife, Educator, Speaker & Working Machine. Our time is now to show respect for woman & letting woman in power. True fact, Shaklee new "Green" before it was a US fashion statement. Dr. Forest C. Shaklee Sr. wrote a book "When Nature Speaks" now Sloan's book. Glad to see Sloan is taking the bull by the horn, it's time we are admitting how powerful American woman really are and let it be known around the World. United we shall stand!

Sloan Barnett is AWESOME! As one who's been fighting the plastics industry since 1998, (see the Los Angeles Times Metro article dated April 12, 1998), I've been saddened by people's reluctance to change simple habits. Maybe now with Sloan's book, people will find it easier and more convincing to do...Thanks Sloan!

I've already loved Ms. Barnetts segments on the Today Show & on Oprah about these subjects so was excited to learn she has a book on the horizon!

I was so impressed by all the information & helpful ideas presented here.

Going Green is not as hard as it may seem & she definitely simplifies the process for us!

I've applied some of the tips already - I have a BestWater Pitcher and use the Shaklee GetClean products. They are fantastic! I highly recommend them.

Cannot wait for the book!:)
