Dr Steve Jones like Mr. David Griffin winds up every 5 mins in a self-congratulatory chuckle. This is a dire subject. To those two: just because you have encountered the ridiculous in the govt tale (that insults the victims, really), doesn't mean you have to telegraph it with a laugh. Just parse your re-take down to the colloquial, if you can - like say Graeme MacQueen does - and serve it cold.

To clarify... they would have to observe the levels of plane collisions after the collisions and then set the demolition sequences (computer controlled signal system?) based on that observation since the planes might not strike at a vertical level that could be pre-determined within accuracy.

The explosives theory is made partly due to Building 7 (also visual, sonic, seismic observations of WTC1 and WTC2 on that day).

Building 7 had some damage to the south side but was not hit by a plane. Visually it appeared to have few fires. The collapse was exactly straight down with the top penthouse starting to cave first. Speed of collapse was close to free-fall speed. If this building was demolition it implies pre-planted devices.

NIST and US Govt have acted in a fashion of cover up.

so how would the explosives be detonated at the point of impact of the planes?

Theoretically, if some party had pre-planted explosives and waited for the pre-known day when 'terrorists' would fly the planes into them, they would have it arranged so they could signal the destruction from the level of the planes' collisions to ensure the idea that the planes caused the collapses. If they had collapsed from the bottom of the buildings, there'd be obvious suspicion. Capable people could arrange the timing system (real time/computer controlled) to set off how they wanted.
