The spirit of this last sonata of the "Seven LAst Words of Christ suggests that Haydn realized Christ was reconciled with his Father and did not "curse God and die" as Job's comforters suggested. Rather it appears on the Cross The Savior was reciting the Twenty-Second Psalm (of David) as was often his custom to remind people of Old Testament prophecies. We are told Christ was overheard by a Roman soldier who did not understand Aramaic + reported the words to the Apostles.Psalm 22 was fullfilled

Well done. I love how the group really connected throughout the piece. Beautiful dynamics and a oneness that comes through in their playing.

Nice performance of a great piece of music. I've always found the '7 last words' to be spiritualy moving.
