  • I prefer to keep the tension. However, trading pieces seems to be an acceptable continuation.

  • i really like the scotch opening and i've seen thechesswebsite's video on the scotch opening and on both options that you named, thechesswebsite says it's okay to go ahed and trde off the knights so black would have doubled up pawns.

    is that a valid move or should i just keep the tension between the pieces?

  • @KensOfficeUSA Black would lose it's castling option, but it still turns out to a pretty even game.
