I heard that Barbara had arranged with CBC for Jian to not make any reference to her news career and was only supposed to be interviewing Barbara Walters the author.

Oh, no wait. That was Billy Bob.

How ironic. I watched this video because of how much I like Barbara Walters. She was walking by my grandmother in an airport around 2001. My grandmother was crying; she couldn't get on a flight for a funeral because the only ticket was really expensive and she couldn't afford it. Guess what BW did? She asked her what was wrong and then bought her the ticket and a coffee! At any rate, you come off as "snotty, "bitchy" and quite judgmental too. Before you know it you will be an "old douch bag"

@gabsylv Exactly. What a stupid, ignorant question. She's kind of a moron. I like to treat people the way I'd like to be treated, so if someone has an American accent, I assume they're American, obviously. I don't look at their skin color and ask them where they're from. It's just plain stupid. Gian is clealry Canadian. Why ask him where he's from? So stupid. Especially, implying that he's from Iran. I don't go around asking white people where they're from, expecting them to say Ireland, etc.

Barbara is awesome though. She has been such a big part of so many people's lives worldwide and is so well known, it will be a sad day when she finally does leave us.

I think it's fitting that Jian interviewed Barbara. I think he's got similar "forthright" interviewing techniques like she does.
