PLEASE READ - The Northumberland Humane Society is a small shelter located in Port Hope, Ontario, Canada, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in heart and spirit! Our facility is funded only by donations and by it's own fundraising efforts.
Grateful thanks are due to the following for their input into this project;
Grant Wilson, for kindly allowing me to use a piece of his music. Those who follow Grant's work on Ghost Hunters may not know that he's a talented composer and pianist as well as a paranormal investigator! To hear more of Grant's lovely compositions, please visit http://www.myspace.com/grantwilsonpiano
Sara Tanner, our talented staff website designer and photographer; this lady photographs our animals for adoption so beautifully, and we are very lucky to have her! She also takes amazing portraits of humans too. Please visit her website at www.saratanner.ca
Sarah Barba, who's awesome video editing pulls everything together in a way that not only makes sense, but creates a beautiful viewing experience! Working with her is always a pleasure! Please visit her website at www.dynamicvideoinnovations.weebly.com
Rich Wigmore and Cogeco Cable TV, who kindly gave permission for some of the video footage from their production 'The Daily Grind' to be used for this video.
All the great staff and volunteers at the shelter, who never stop caring! I wish all of them could have appeared in the video!
And last but far from least, to the animals, which are the reason the Northumberland Humane Society exists - yes, we rescue them, care for them, shelter them and adopt them out to new and loving homes, but they do far more for us by inspiring us with lessons of forgiveness, tenaciousness and love. Without them, we would truly 'die from a great loneliness of spirit.'
It looks like Dawg is a tad over weight or is that the way that he's supposed to be?
