What people don't seem to get is that the Meat Puppets still put out epic albums and tour. People should follow them on twitter @TheMeatPuppets .. I caught them for my 8th and 9th times this past November. Amazing. The have a facebook fan page and everything. So if you love this music, then I doubt you'll have a problem with what they're putting out now. New album being worked on, their 14th studio effort. Awesome

Everyone really misses the fucking point. Music in the 90s sucked, too, just not THIS music. The fact that we remember all the grunge tunes and alternative rock just shows that we like that kind of music, and yeah, it came from the late 80s-90s, but we forget the HORRIBLE pop SHIT that came from the 80s-90s. The good music from the 00's and 2010-11 is all the indie stuff, and the fact is the truly great tunes are hard to find because there is so much distribution on the internet. Rock on bros.
