My geese were fine in a pen, until 2 raccoons got in and ganged up on him and killed him. netting and chicken wrie have been chew thru by raccoons, possums and foxes, if they ar edetermined. Hot wire around the bottom would help or a heavy wire top. Also a certain kind of owl can get thru a some wires. Also the coons can reach thru the fence and grab their necks ,etc. If it's hungry and determined... I have seen a coon open screen doors at at campground to get in a porch for the trash...

Or simply use a wooden shed to house ur poultry lol
It's a dog run - it seems to work fine. I put some hardware cloth on the outside bottom and it has been raccoon proof so far, almost 9 months now

Hello. I do not know if you know this or not, But somtimes just the stress of being scared can kill a bird. So even the Raccon running outside the pen could Literally scare them to death.
Hope you find a way to keep the raccoon away from your ducks.
Best wishes.

Well, I do have it pretty good protection now, got some hardware cloth around the bottom, they know the things near them even before you can see it, check the other videos, no raccoon in the frame, but they know it's there. Thanks for the comments!

Hi.. My daughter commented earlier,, now you have Mom.. Was tryin to see your set up... I will tell you Raccoons can be hard to discourage... do you just have ducks in there? I did not hear a goose.. I will tell you that Racoons usually leave geese alone and the ducks that live them... also a light on a sensor if you can tolerate it going off may scare them off as well... Good luck
with it all!!

It's a Dog Run 4 feet tall, square (about $300) a top made of nylon mesh and some hardware cloth around the bottom of the dog run. Quite simple, really.
