  • Hey Dave!

Are you a video pro or? :D

You said something about a Canon camera, but what is the exacted model that you are using? (:

    MrVvang

  • The Canon XL1S

  • Ok, so is it your job to broadcast? (:

Do you record your Youtube videos with it?

Can you maybe make an overview / a review or something on it? That would be sweet!

  • I do some youtube vids with it but for quick blogs mostly i use imovie. from a professional point of view i only output to DVD. Nevertheless I have used final cut pro for broadcast television production for a documentary i made several years ago. The color correction feature in final cut is top class.

  • shouldnt you use a colorchecker. How accurate is the way you are doing it? Who says the whites and blacks you click are really white and black?

  • Very true, an external viewing monitor would be useful for true accuracy. but nevertheless when i export the video to DVD and view it on TV it looks exactly the same as it was on the mac so I'm confident enough with this method myself.

  • sorry, that was nothing close to colour corrected, the red tinge is nothing to be satisfied with

  • Cool , but incomplete tutorial. There are much more thing to say about CC.

  • Too bad you don't get as many views on these as other videos. Tutorials are actually the greatest thing about youtube, in my opinion. Though I know color correcting well, I do wish that you'd zoomed more often, since this is only 360p.

  • It's a wonderful camera. Have it myself.

  • That's cool

  • dave you should be more funny. i like it when your funny

  • Thanks for replying, however i did mean the Canon XL1S camera, not FCS.. :b

  • I turn down the exposure to reduce grain, but not too much to where i cant see anything.
