i believe in thier dynasty, one reason is the winning streak, they had a record season, a playoff streak thats still intact, performance in the post-season, and also the active style and will to win, starting with MR. little ceasars himself, devalano, holland, and the pursuit of greatness, i dont think any team puts as much effort into being the best, ON AND OFF THE ICE, thats my opinion,

No mention of the Canadiens dynasty of 55-60 or the Canadiens dynasty of 75-79... ?

There's been several dynasties in the NHL obviously .. I only mentioned a few that were more recent.

I guess it's just a matter of opinion. If they had beaten the Devils in '95 then more would consider them a dynasty because they would have had 4 Cups in 8 years including back to back cups in '97/'98.

For me, though, although 4 cups in 11 years is awesome I think there was too much time in between wins for them to truly be called a dynasty.

yeah there was that lull between 2002 and 08, however if the salary cap never got put on ...hahha, who knows what we coulda done.

Well now that there's the cap and 30 teams they're probably going to be the closest thing to a dynasty for a long while.

yup. alot of great young talent, i think if the caps get hot at the right time they can overtake the penguins.
