Unreasonable Rocket Flight 4 Slow Motion

Saturday's fourth tethered flight, the first to take off from and land on the ground, shown at 1/10th speed. Video shot using Masten Space Systems equipment.

The rocket vehicle is by the Paul Breeds of Unreasonable Rocket, and is hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by sodium permanganate, which makes the purple color. The peroxide is throttled, the permanganate is not, which is why the exhaust gets more and less purple.

This test took place at FAR.
