ACK sorry for the weird looking feet and slightly short legs, I fixed them and you can see the final image on my deviant art account (although the feet still looks weird...).

Sigh~ if only you have the polygonal lasso Painter... it would make my life a lot easier.

  • WOW, this only took 45 minutes!? I'd love to be able to do anything near it within even two hours! :)

I've seen that 'color with odd-color, fill, then replace with real color' technique before(on Nico Video, actually). Is it really that helpful? It seems like when I use it, I have to fix a lot of holes.

Anyway, looks great! Also reminded me of arbitrary rotation being useful, but only my Painter Essentials has that, and I use GIMP for everything.. :/

  • It's because there's almost no details in this, so it was quick ^_^

The odd color fill is just like what other artists do when they fill the background with green or gray then color in the base colors for the picture. This is just the opposite of that XD (I like to keep my background white)

Hmm, that's weird, do you fill in the colors like this? (outlining first)

    Thank you :)

It is~ Well you can always switch back and forth between the two!

  • Awuuh, it's nice to see how you work! :D And I don't think it have any reason to get removed, it's not that much nudity <3

Also, to be able to rotate the canvas like that is something I miss in Photoshop ^^

Lastly, the pic is supercute :D

  • That's good then ^^

Some people didn't even realize she was naked.

Oh yeah, there isn't a rotating function in photoshop... or I just don't know where it is XD

    Thank you.

  • Oh I see naked from a mile away! ;3 Eherm.. Yeah xD

Well, you can rotate it, but if you do you'll need to press several buttons and it takes time.. And also it tends to mess up the layers a bit - like resizing some of them..

But you use Painter X yes? I might wanna try it out.

  • Lol, good eyes!

Ohh~ I see... I was trying to find it XD

    Yup, it's a good program~

  • I used to switch between them actually, but part of my speeding things up was by using GIMP only. But now that I have a new free version of PE(the fourth instead of the second like before), maybe it'll be practical to use.

Well, I was filling in with the actual color I was going to use, but what happened was that it had some jagged edges, or weird borders, which caused a few stray pixels to miss being filled in.

May try again later if/when I get another lineart ready to color...

  • Thanks!

Yes, I think the rotating thing is very useful~

  • Yup!

I will be uploading more from now on since I got a new screen recorder that works better :)

  • I really love your drawing T.T

  • wow.. an update!!
