@DarkKadan Oh definitely. I like playing the games where the villain triumphs over the hero at one point or another. As you said thats what made FF VI the game it was. The heroes failed to accomplish their mission and then you get to see what happened to the world because of their failures. Of course I also like it that the game didn't end and the heroes get to redeem themselves. If the game had ended there I wouldn't have liked it as much. :p

the original is the best out of the two, i would have gladly played the remake if it wasnt for the weak battle system they decided to put in the DS version. but a really strong point the remake has, the remastered musical score is godly

nostolgia train decided to run me over... this was a freaking amazing game, even by todays standards, great music, simple yet effective gameplay, and a good story to back that up... Im sad to see the Lufia series mutilated by the newer "sequels", they tend to do crappy jobs at making sequels and spinoffs these days...
