  • I agree ... you device is not safe to operate .. please be carefull ... dont want anyone injured ... please find more appropriate materials ...

your methods appear to be sound ... just study up on the safety protocols ...

  • I'd recommend putting some soap in your bubbler to catch the hydrogen. Then, it'll be easier to prove that you're making hydrogen. You just light the collected bubbles and get a small blast!

  • GOOD JOB! Hats off to everyone giving helpful comments about safety thats what we need more of good advice instead of criticisim!!!!

  • that was sooo close to blowing up it aint even funny..!

  • "No ones fault but my own" playing in the background.

    Apropo.

    Gettin the Led out. (hah!)

  • Sound advice from all the above.....

  • on the safety side with the glass jar, as long as the flashback arrestor is on the line then its safe from being exploded apart. if you do get a plastic one, ensure that its got a good seal on the lid as they dont seal as good as glass.

  • Was that a glass jar you used? If so, might I recommend plastic - if you have catastrophic failure, plastic doesn't create quite the shrapnel that glass does!
