The motor we use for when we are tired, and want to go home. It allows us to travel further than we could go than before. Aprox 3 miles to the pint of gasoline/petrol carrying all our gear at 3-4 MPH

I will have to take some photos.. it is very simple.. I cut a piece of pallet wood, (good quality redwood, tho I think it was a bit tough to cut and heavy) to fit accross inside the canoe under the gunwale, cut to the shape of the taper of the boat. I then cut a piece to sit on top of the gunwales. Using spacers I almost clamped the gunwales so it was a really good tight fit. (like a gunwale sandwich).
