1:05 for all you music-lovers out there ;)
It might be a bit hard to hear what I'm saying but here's the gist of it...I constructed a PVC pipe didgeridoo. The mouthpiece is [temporarily] made of hot glue from a glue gun which can get irritating. I have dreadlocks so naturally I own some beeswax but I've misplaced it, so soon I will find it and make a proper mouthpiece. As far as the sound quality goes, I'm a beginner (literally started playing today when I filmed this video), I can't circle-breathe yet, and my beatboxing skills could use some work. But I think for my first day ever trying this instrument it's not bad. This is basically me messing around with what I can do, at this time. In not too long I will buy a real didge and hopefully improve my skills and upload some more videos.
You got great sound for your first day!! I'm looking to see if you have any follow-up videos. I want to see how good you've gotten since then.

@bunnidotcom I haven't made any new videos since then, mostly because I haven't been practicing my didge skills lately...I never really managed to get circular breathing down, so I sort of hit a roadblock in terms of improving my skills...until I get passed circular breathing, I don't think I can really get any better. i sort of have it down, but still not nearly well enough to be able to say "i know how to circular breathe".......

@bunnidotcom .....also, i might start making new videos of me talking about spirituality/philosophy/theoretical physics stuff, because those are the topics I always talk about with my friends and they all think I need to start recording & uploading videos of me and a few other people sharing our ideas...so if you're interested in that, I guess keep an eye out. Otherwise, I will try to upload a new didge video soon. I'll keep working on the circular breathing, too.

it just sounds like a stoner blowing thru a pvc pipe! haha
get a propper yidaki ya tight-arse!
naaah....im sorry.... only joking mate.... lol.
ive made about 20 didges out of agave and where as they dont compare with yidaki didgeridoos, they are way better than pvc. my agave didges are light, have great back pressure and look and sound heeeeeeaps better than pvc too!
cheers

@Cre8iveSignWorks well any didge made of wood will sounds 100x better than anything made of any type of plastic...& i hear eucalyptus is the way to go. the only reason i used pvc was because this (obviously) was my first day ever playing didgeridoo and I wanted to try it through a cheap tubular device (i.e. pvc pipe) before spending my money on a nice quality one. check my other videos for the teakwood didge i ultimately bought though...i also made one out of bamboo which sounds pretty nice =)
