@KaeShiCash its true. it does seem strange but they make helmets like that but its so the rider can stop and answer their phone or stop to talk to someone. My helmet is just like that so whenever i stop at a red light i can call and ask if there's anything i need to get while I'm out its very convenient.

It wasn't a mistake. His helmet had ear holes so that when riding, you don't have to take ur helmet off and talk on the phone or hear what someones saying to you. My helmet is like that too.
