This is the walk through the old original part of the Mombasa Arab and Swahili quater. It is not frequented by many visitors as it is mainly a staunch Muslim area.Coming from Kenya I thought that this may be of interest to a variety of people. There is a lot of archetectoral history of the different buildings built during the pre colonial days, through to the present day. Also it shows the old harbour which is still used for handling cargo by the Arab dhows plying their trade along the East African Coast.
