  • kilograms x 2.2 = your weight in pounds ?? wha?

  • @NMWMN - I apologize for the confusion. It doen't equal YOUR weight in pounds - it gives you the weight of the bell in pounds. Ex.: 16kg Kettlebell x 2.2 = 35.2 lbs.

  • @BodysmithFitness ... thanks man, hey I'm virtually innumerate so if I'm male, weighing 103kg then what sized bell should I start with? Thanks very much for your time, I appreciate it.

  • @NMWMN .... It depends on what kind of shape you are in. Since this is a full body exercise, if it is done properly, you're going to be able to create a lot of force so I would reccomend starting with a 16kg kettelbell and see how that treats you. HINT: If you can control the kettlebell with your arms, its too light. You need to focus on pushing hard off the heels and driving your hips forward to raise the bell and letting gravity carry it back between your legs. Stay tight! ;)

  • @NMWMN I just started using the KB. I weight 107, i'm in poor condition and i started with 16 kg which lasted for the 1 time just to try out the techniques now I use the 24 kg and it feels just right at the moment. I have to use a good technique to manage to do the exercises but I can still compensate for any technin errors with brute force.

  • @BodysmithFitness thanks again, i'll give it a burl. Cheers and thanks for the post
