@since1773 Your quote "The ascendency has begun..." Maybe not so much. Tea Party favorability and attendance is plummeting. Tea Party candidates are forced to charge admission to "public meetings" because of all the flak they are getting from their constituents about their obstructionism, corporatism and favoritism towards the rich. "Pay-to-play" is unconstitutional because people, rich or poor, have the right to "petition" their government and not have to pay for it. Teahadists = neo-fascists.

Why would you be proud to have the Rich Elite dip their nuts in your mouth? I would never be a tea bagger. There is no way you could get me us to that. Most tea bag politician are sell outs to the rich elite and allow themselves to get tea bagged and what is worst they expect all of to want to get tea bagged too. Sorry but I don't like getting tea bagged.

The pre-existing conditions part is mainly targeted at health insurance companies who charge people their monthly fees... and then when the patient gets sick they DENY them coverage, and say it was a "pre-existing condition". That should be a criminal act, and thankfully the Health Care reform.. as weak and useless as it is... covers this point.

That comment was heavily a tongue-in-cheek response to someone telling me that liberals hate America. I was covering a few of the topics I felt passionately about (health care for all, homosexual rights, consumer protections) and in no way meant they were all inter-related. Sorry for the confusion.

@A0DBOB - Insurance is meant to be a small payment made by individuals or companies for protection from a statistically unlikely event, not monthly doctor visits. Covering minor things is what raises premiums so high that individuals and employers can't afford it. And it's going to be worse if they're forced to cover preexisting conditions. And just to make things that much worse, regulations are so tight that there aren't enough people in the insurance pools to make it affordable.

@A0DBOB - Your solutions are the problems. If you want affordable health insurance, you can't pay for preexisting conditions. And adding burdensome regulations hurts the consumer because it raises costs. Not sure what homosexuals have to do with this - unless you think they want unaffordable health insurance and more regulations just because they're gay, which would be weird...
